DAW KYI KYI THAN<\/h4>

CHAIRMAN<\/h5>\nDaw Kyi Kyi Than is the founder of Myanmar Oriental Bank and since 1993 when the bank was founded, she has served the bank with various positions starting from a Marketing Director (1993), General Manager (1996), Deputy Managing Director (2008), Managing Director (2010) and promoted as a Chairwoman in 2016. Daw Kyi Kyi Than graduated from Yangon University with the major in Physics in 1981. She is one of the major shareholders of the bank and she has been acting as a member of Board of Directors since the bank was founded. With her 25 years of experience, she has been leading the bank to its development by promoting the quality of bank staff.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

KAUNG HTET (NEO) ZAW<\/h4>

CEO<\/h5>\nKo Kaung Htet Zaw is an accomplished legal professional turned banker with extensive experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, contract management, consumer lending, corporate loan structuring and real estate transactions. He has successfully structured corporate loans in the amount exceeding 100 billion MMK, developed KPIs for legal departments, standardized loan documentation processes, and provided critical legal support to corporate and compliance teams. Ko Kaung Htet Zaw is skilled in negotiating and drafting agreements, managing disputes, maintaining strong relationships with both domestic and international stakeholders, project execution and managing multiple teams.\n<\/p>\nIn previous roles, he played a key role in ensuring legal compliance for new product launches, supporting HR and risk management teams, and overseeing contract registries. DAW PHYO THU HTWE<\/h4>

DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR<\/h5>\nDaw Phyo Thu Htwe has more than twenty-seven years of experience in the banking industry. She joined Myanmar Oriental Bank (MOB) since 1996. She got the first degree, Bachelor of Science, Industrial Chemistry (BSc., IC) from Yangon University and then Diploma in banking (DB) from Yangon University of Economics. She got the double Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Banking and Finance (MBF), from Yangon University of Economics. In 2017, she attended the Corporate Secretary Master Program, IFC Singapore. She has extensive experience in banking operations, project management, human resource management, operational risk management and operational development. In 2022, she implemented the Banking Process Reengineering Project at Myanmar Oriental Bank. Now she is responsible for in charge of board, corporate secretariat, internal audit, risk and compliance, human resource and general affairs departments. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

U HLA KYI<\/h4>

DIRECTOR<\/h5>\nU Hla Kyi has been working at Myanmar Oriental Bank since 1996. He has served as one of the Board of Directors as well as Senior General Manager of Finance Department since 2012 before being appointed as the head of the Treasury Department in 2018. He received Bachelor of Science Degree majored in Physics in 1974 and worked for Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank and Central Bank of Myanmar. DAW KYAING KYAING SEIN<\/h4>

DIRECTOR<\/h5>\nDaw Kyaing Kyaing Sein has been a shareholder since 1999 and acted as a member of the Board of Directors of the bank from June 1999 to November 2003 and from October 2015 until now. She holds a M.B.B.S degree and graduated from University of Medicine (Yangon) in 1980. She also holds an MA in Public Administration from Harvard University which she received in 1998. She worked as an Assistant Doctor at Yangon General Hospital from 1982 and as a project manager at World Vision and as a NGO consultant respectively. She started as a Senior General Manager of the International Relation & Business Development Department at the bank and since 2016, she has been acting as a Deputy Managing Director to improve the bank\u2019s human resources development.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

U Nyo Myint is a Director of MOB and he is also acting as a Senior Managing Director of KBZ Group of Companies. Before he moved to the private organization, he worked as Director of Central Bank of Myanmar.<\/p>\n

\nHe worked as a consultant when he first joined KBZ Group but he is now serving as the senior project lead for all KBZ Group businesses.\n<\/p>\n

His outside works include Managing Director at Phoo Pwin Company Limited, Director at Ambur International Co., Ltd. which is a JV with Ambur International Pte Co., Ltd., a shareholder and BOD member at Plastic World Limited and a shareholder and BOD member at TMW Enterprise Limited.
